I received my PhD in Biological Oceanography from the MIT-WHOI Joint Program.  My thesis investigated the diversity of the marine, tropical, N2-fixing cyanobacterium Trichodesmium.

I am currently working with Dr. Brian Binder on using mathematical models to describe diel cell cycling and grazing on picocyanobacteria.
